Meet Dean!

by | Dec 17, 2023 | Watatunga Blog

We’re excited to introduce our newest team member, Dean who has joined us as a Reserve Ranger with enthusiasm and a unique skill set.

In his role, Dean will be collaborating closely with our Operations Manager, Molly ensuring the smooth functioning of our reserve. He alongside Molly and the rest of the animal team is responsible for morning and evening rounds, care for our diverse wildlife, and managing daily feeds, in addition to the unexpected of each and every day! Dean’s hands-on approach and proficiency in various tasks has already made him a crucial part of the team.

Previously a successful carpenter, Dean has seamlessly applied his skills to wildlife conservation, impressing us with his quick adaptation and excellence in his first few weeks.

Outside of Watatunga, Dean’s interests include dog breeding and active participation in local shoots. His love for the countryside and all things outdoors aligns perfectly with our mission at Watatunga, and we’re thrilled to have such a dedicated and skilled individual on our team.

We’re excited to see how he positively influences Watatunga Wildlife Reserve!
