Events at Watatunga

In addition to tours, we are delighted to announce a series of events unfolding on-site at Watatunga .  From pop-up dining at the BBQ hut to folk music and talks from Norfolk’s leading conservationists in our large stretch tent, we’re excited to have a programme that will keep you coming back for more.  Where possible, we’ve timed events to fit around tour times, allowing you to make the most of every visit.

Wild Talks

Join us for an exclusive event with respected conservationist, Nick Acheson for evening of immense knowledge and nature insights from his adventurous journey over lockdown.

Safari and gin – Whatahoot!

We’re really excited to offer a fabulous joint experience – a guided buggy tour followed by exploration of a gin distillery at the fabulous King’s Lynn based WhataHoot.

Twilight Tours

New for 2024, we are offering a limited number of twilight tours on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from June. Starting at 19.00, a magical time in the reserve, you’ll have the chance to be amongst the first guests to witness the evening lull at Watatunga when many of our species emerge from the woodland after the heat of the day and graze or feed around the lake.
