Watatunga BBQ Hut Experiences
With a newly erected stretch tent around the BBQ area, we are pleased to be able to offer this stunning space for you to host a self-catered BBQ overlooking our lake, allowing you to relax and take in the peaceful ambience of the wildlife reserve, while you enjoy your food.
Self-Catered Kit Includes:
- 3 x Large serving bowls
- Dinner plates
- Side plates
- Dessert bowls
- Cutlery (knives, forks, dessert spoons, teaspoons)
- Assorted serving spoons
- A large tray of assorted glasses (for wine and/or soft drinks)
- Champagne / Ice bucket (please note, we do not provide ice)
- Salt & Pepper shakers
- Cast iron skillet
- BBQ utensil set
- Charcoal & firelighters
- Bin bags
Please note, we do not provide any napkins or cooking oils.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the self-catered BBQ experience?
You will have 3 hrs at the BBQ hut unattended, we supply handwashing
facilities, plates, glassware, cutlery, cooking and serving utensils and a cool box to
transport your food (provided by yourself). Tours are not included in the price but
available on request.
Are children allowed at the BBQ hut?
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate anyone under the age of 12, due
to the proximity of the lake.
