A sad goodbye but we are incredibly grateful to Jono!
Our Reserve Manager Jono is leaving Watatunga after an amazing year in Norfolk. Nobody could care more for birds and animals than Jono and we were privileged to have him with us for the past 12 months. Jono is returning to Kent to be with his wonderful wife Marie on her family farm.
Jono certainly isn’t heading off for the easy life, he will be busy working with nature in Kent with Marie, who this year entered the Guinness Book of Records for shearing 370 sheep in 8 hours – an incredible acheivement!
Jono shall be sorely missed by all of us here at Watatunga as well as our guests and especially the animals and we all wish him and Marie every success and happiness for the future – don’t be strangers!
