Frequently Asked Questions

Can we book an art experience as a group?

Yes, groups are welcome. We can accommodate up to 12.

What happens on an art experience?
Art experiences at Watatunga are delivered in relaxed, four-hour sessions, each including a complimentary drink and a packet of biscuits. All experiences begin with a warm introduction from expert tutor Martin, who will take time to understand your interests, uncover your natural talents, and tailor the session to suit your individual needs. This is followed by a short drive and visit into the reserve, where guests begin developing confidence and technique while sketching in the field. During the winter months, guests will return to reception to continue their session indoors; in spring, they move to our onsite stretch tent, offering a sheltered outdoor setting close by to our reception facilities; and in summer, the experience continues at our lakeside BBQ area for a fully immersive creative experience surrounded by nature.
We recommend guests bring their own lunch, and they are very welcome to bring additional refreshments, as one complimentary drink is included per attendee.
