Healing herbs at Watatunga
This June we welcome back Katie from Wild Oak Workshops for a ‘healing herbs’ workshop. Join her for a fun-filled daytime workshop to learn all about the wonderful healing power of herbs whilst you create your very own healing herb kitchen planter!
Starting with your very own galvanised oval planter, whilst planting up your 3 herbs (mint, basil and parsley), Katie will share her knowledge about the importance of ‘no peat’ compost and the vital need to keep our soil in tip-top-condition.
This wonderfully aromatic and therapeutic experience will also make you inhale and marvel at all the Historical, Mythical, Nutritional and Medicinal virtues of each herb.
Katie is passionate about helping people slow down, reconnect with nature and unleash the creative self in all of us.
At Wild Oak Workshops, she designs creative experience where you will feel reconnected with nature, switch off from life’s daily pressures and when you leave (clutching your wonderful creation), you’ll feel your senses have been reawakened and creativity refreshed.
HERBS ARE AMAZING and are here to nurture us! You really will look at herbs with fresh eyes!
Each workshop is really intimate with a maximum of 10 people plus Katie, hosted in our cosy reception building which is wheelchair accessible.
The workshop will run from 11.00 – 13.00 at Watatunga’s reception building where warming refreshments, mint cordial, homemade Salsa Verde and hummus with herb biscuits will all also be included in the price of your ticket.
£59.50 per person
